The title of this blog means a lot to us. This is one of our aspirations at Holmes Murphy, and it’s the fundamental reason ACAP Health exists. Let me tell you why.

A little over a week ago, we had the opportunity to see how health really does matter for one of our Holmes Murphy/ACAP clients, McCraw Oil and Propane in Bonham, Texas. McCraw first made Naturally Slim available to its employees in early 2015.

If you aren’t sure what Naturally Slim is, I’ll give you a quick definition. Naturally Slim is a “not-a-diet” online weight loss program that’s changing lives and improving corporate bottom lines. Excess body fat, increased blood pressure, high blood sugar levels, and abnormal cholesterol levels increase the risk of chronic diseases that cost employers and employees both financially and in lost productivity. Simply put, poor health is costing employers and employees more than you know, and that’s where this program comes in!

OK…back to my story. Bright and early, at 7:30 a.m., we loaded up a bus at our Dallas office and drove 90 minutes to Bonham. There we met with several members of the McCraw team to share a video that ACAP produced to help tell their story (see photo of ACAP and McCraw employees with their bright cheery faces below!).

I don’t want to spoil the message of the video, but when you watch it please recognize what you already probably know…Naturally Slim is not just about weight loss…it’s really about helping people regain the quality of life that we were all designed to enjoy!

This story, along with what was recently reported about our work with Genesis Health in Davenport, Iowa, on station KWQC, are very real examples of what makes Holmes Murphy so special. We clearly do make a difference by promoting health, protecting wealth, and delivering peace of mind.
