We are looking to add a Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team in Waukee, IA. Candidates thrive in our environment when they harness their collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a love of learning.
This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware and system software components.
Duties:
- System Troubleshooting and Optimization: Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and servers
- Tech Support and Ticket Management: Providing end-user support via email, phone, and IM for issues escalated from the Tech Support team
- System Maintenance and Backup: Rebooting servers to apply security patches and reviewing security audit scans.
- Phone and Fax System Administration: Administering phone and fax systems, including adding/editing/removing users, extensions, and call routes
- PowerShell Scripting and Automation: Working with Systems Engineers to update commonly used applications and creating/editing scripts to automate tasks
- Email and Active Directory Administration: Administering Active Directory by adding/editing/removing service accounts, admin accounts, and security groups
- Documentation and Policy Development: Assisting with writing policies, procedures, and technical documentation
- Additional System Support Tasks: Assisting with testing, configuring, and deploying software packages

- Must be knowledgeable of and comply with HMA’s Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: One to three years’ experience working with a wide variety of types hardware and software systems used by the company.
