We have an Accounting Internship opportunity with our Finance team in Waukee, IA. This role will be part-time throughout the school year.
No need to worry if you’re unsure about insurance, our program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience that will allow you to explore the ever-changing industry.
YOU WILL
- Record and validate revenue and commission received. Assist the accounts receivable team with recording payments received to client accounts and validating work completed.
- Prepare reconciliations. Assist various finance teams with reconciliations of information to the general ledger.
- Analyze financial data. Assist with the transition of client accounts, requests for historical data, and other ad hoc requests.
- Attend team meetings.
- Take on any additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or another related field.
- Prior work experience is a plus.
- Available to work at least 10-15 hours per week during the school year, with the potential option to extend the internship into the summer at 38.75 hours per week.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
